Writer
Chris White
Livejournal
Chris White is the author of the JC alternate universe novella "Starr in Charge," has a story in the Hadrian ni Leyanon fanbook, is the winner of the Do Black Nasty competition, and has more work coming, including an original character story in an upcoming North American manga. She is also a rabid roleplayer, mostly known in the JF roleplaying community for her portrayals of Calyx Starr, her favorite fannish obsession.
Her work for JF includes:
"Starr in Charge" and an untitled crossover book.

A sample of her work, excerpted from "Starr in Charge":

The curtain started sliding open, and Black realized he'd missed the rest of Romero's brief patter. In true dramatic fashion, Calyx Starr was gloriously, gorgeously draped on his back over a long black couch with undulating curves. His waist-length hair cascaded off the edge to the floor like a waterfall, glitter within sparkling in the light. But it was the costume that made Black's breath hitch. He'd always found being creatively dressed hotter than raw nudity, and the patchwork of glittering cloth and flesh gave the mind-bending illusion that Calyx was both.

Writer
Grumpy Demon
Grumpy Demon is a jill of all trades and a master of none. She spends her time immersed in all facets of the written word or inflicting chaos on a massive scale. When not amusing herself with the tormenting of others, she finds the time to write, sip vodka and coke, and reflect on the utter deliciousness of the soul and all its attachments. This demon basks well in her glory, so feel free to become one of the worshipping masses. Bow down, dearheart.
Her work for JF includes:
"Beyond Mirage" (Juxtan), "Gilded Cage" (Juxtan), "Chains of Reflection" (Juxtan), and "Untitled" (Juxtapose City). As well as a handful of short stories and the 'Caled' Livejournal.

A sample of her work, excerpted from "Chains of Reflection":

“You look like Rhiad,” Caled said dully.
Hadrian blinked then, a look of pale surprise passing over his face before he looked away again. He tugged his cloak tighter around his body and stared back into the fire. He could feel the flames’ heat reaching up to caress over him, but Hadrian shivered anyway beneath the remembered fire of another night.
“But then that’s all I see in you,” Caled added softly.
Hadrian’s eyes flashed at that and his fingers curled into fists.
“Oh? Then what was last night? What did you see in that?” he snapped.
Caled’s eyes were dull and almost pitying upon him. Hadrian refused to turn away even as that look tore into him.
“Death,” Caled answered in the same low tone. “I took you in my arms because I saw death in you.”

Writer
Queen BoadiceaMarsha Hinds
My name is Marsha Hinds, aged 40-plus years. I’m plain and tall with dark eyes and hair. The rest is subject to change without notice. I work quietly selling vacations. On my good days I’m known as amiable. On my bad days, Xena Warrior Princess—but only when I’m off the meds.

I’ve written a few hundred tankas about love and other attendant afflictions. Nobody buys them. (People don’t read poetry. I don’t read poetry and I write the stuff! Ha!) They are for sale at lulu.com under the title Tales from the Virgin and are posted under my nom de plume Queen Boadicea.

I am an aileurophile (I love cats). I also enjoy opera, theater, ballet and movies and attend as many of these public functions as time and money permit.

Her work for JF includes:
"Song of the Mer", "Fish out of Water" and "Snow, Thorns, Apples".

Writer
LdDurham
Livejournal
LdDurham lives in Southern California with her wife and their two children, three dogs, a cat and a hermit crab. She has been living in a fantasy world since she was a child and began writing her thoughts down when she was in second grade. LdDurham found online fanfiction and slash fiction in 2004 and Harry Potter fanfiction about three months after that. She was insprired enough to write her first ever completed chaptered story, "By Fair Means or Foul", and hasn't stopped since. She went on to write her most popular fanfiction, "Indago", which, luckily, garnered the attention of Tricia from JuxtaposeFantasy who asked her to write a novella. "Descent through Darkness" was published in fall of 2005.

Her work for JF includes:
"Descent through Darkness"

A sample of her work, excerpted from "Descent through Darkness" :

"Why?" Hadrian asked in a whisper. Caled watched as the fallen man's back rose and fell with his sobs. "Why can't I be what you want? Why?"

"You'll never be what I want," Caled told him firmly. "Once you may have been worth something. But now?" He crossed his arms over his chest and stood tall. "You are nothing."

The black head came up and wet grey eyes, swollen and red, looked at him with such pain that Caled could barely stand to look into them.

“I’m not a donor for the undead,” Black said, his eyes following Calyx.

The vampire chuckled, the sound dark and sensual on the empty street.  “Worry not then, sweetheart.  My fangs weren’t exactly what I had planned on sinking into you.”

Allyastentatioux
Ally (astentatioux) lives in Southern California with her family and in her spare time likes reading, what else? Slash! She has two novellas published (What Happens in Vegas and Winner Takes All) as well as several fanfiction stories in both Juxtan (The Wager and Little Piece of Heaven) and AR:Heaven (A Love to Make My Wings Soar).

A sample of her work, excerpted from "The Wager":

Caled arched a golden brow, his gaze scrutinizing Hadrian. "Hades, are you reneging on our wager?" He asked, tsk, tsking to the younger man. "Or are you not man enough to go through with our agreement?" Caled stared at Hadrian, his eyes challenging him to do so, yet knowing that Hadrian's pride would make him go on.

He had Hadrian right where he wanted him.

"Undress, little sorcerer, or I shall have to do it for you. One way or the other those garments come off that sweet little body of yours." His expression was serious but his eyes held a fire that burned stronger than Rhiad's.

"Though I shall take a perverse pleasure in getting them off you, if that's what you prefer." He licked his lips lewdly as he spoke.
